Crafters Companion Cut and Emboss Folders

Hi. Thanks for stopping by.
Today I thought I would show you some cards that I've made using the new Cut and Emboss Folders from Crafters Companion.

For this card I made a background by using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.
I used glycerine on an applicator, then picked up the ink from my glass mat
and blended it onto a piece of Sheena's stamping card.
Once it was dry I ran it through my Gemini Junior using the Butterfly Kiss
Cut and emboss folder.
I then went over the butterflies wings with silver pebeo guilding wax.
Stamped a sentiment in the aperture.
Added a bow.
Voila an easy card made in very little time.

Sheena Douglass Stamps and Dies

Hi. Thanks for stopping by.
Today I thought I would show you some cards that I've made using the new
Sheen Douglass Stamps and Dies.

For all the above cards I have used Sheena's Embossing Card
and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.

I cut the die first and then I used a Versafine Smoky Grey
ink pad to stamp the image onto the die cut.
I then coloured the flowers using Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens by
putting some of the ink onto my glass mat and using a paint brush
with some water on it.

I stamped a sentiment into the centre of the card
and used foam pads to stick the embelishments to the card.

Three layered rose

Hi. Thanks for stopping by.
Today I have decided to show you how I make a rose
that only uses three layers.
I haven't used any heat but I have used a hot glue gun.

I've used the same die cut as in my previous flowers.

I've rolled each of the petals between my finger and thumb
to shape them. You need to split one of the layers into
two petals and three petals.

Using the two petal piece put some hot glue on one of the petals and roll it to form a
cone shape.
Then glue the other petal to the first one, still forming a cone shape.

Now take the three petal piece and glue the cone shape in the centre.
Work round sticking each petal to the cone shape.

Take one of your full layers and work round sticking each petal to the cone shape.
Continue the above step with the next layer to finish your rose.

If you want a fuller rose then you can add more layers.

I hope these instructions have been easy to follow.
If you need any help then just leave me a comment.
